What is most important about nutrition

The biggest step in changing how one eats is deciding to eat with more conscience thought for what they put into their mouth. Congratulations, you've made the biggest step, The journey, however, has just begun. Now, you need to actively change what you eat. Nothing really matters if all you did was say what you were going to do. No one remembers the person who said they were going to change the world; they only remember those who do. 

All of the above being said, there are certain aspects of nutrition arguably more important than others. You may hear constantly about carbohydrates being too high is a bad thing. You may also hear that you should watch how much fat you ingest. Yes, all these factors are important, but they are not equally as important. In the subtabs to this page, you'll find what I consider to be the most important factors in nutrition, regardless of what your goal is. Yes, all these points are important, but remember to always keep the most important in the forefront of your mind.
